Kiwicampnut: Went and checked on this today after dropping off another load to storage. It has indeed been taken from the branch it was attached to. As my caching containers are packed away I am archiving this cache. Good luck to the person who took it as you are a thief. This is where it was and the container that was there.

Geocache Description:

A simple cache on a walkway in New Brighton. Take the dog for a walk.

Walkway is a bit muddy in places especially near where it meets the road. You can avoid the mud by walking along the stopbank. There is an interesting 'sculpture' at the start of the walkway which symbolises the houses in this area lost in the earthquake. Container is a round black 200ml plastic pot containing notebook and pencil.
