Geocache Description:

This Geocache was placed by a local explorer scout group (14-18 yr old) they have been hunting for geocaches and decided it was time to hide their own. This and the other caches in this area can form a number of short loops which will be added to by the group over time to include a route leading into this area (so watch this space). The circular walk itself passes through a number of wooded terrains including orchards, coniferous and non-coniferous woodland with some short but steep hills in places. Overall it makes for a pleasant and quiet walk which could be anywhere in the country. It should be noted that the Open Street Map for this area is currently not very good so it is best to bring an OS map. All the caches are placed on or to the side of official footpaths but there are other paths through the woods which should not be followed and are clearly signposted by large yellow signs. For this cache: You must rely on the GPS but you should be walking along a concrete/gravel path and the cache is to the south of the path about 5 meters into the woods
