"Brantley" was playful, and always loved to be held. He watched as, a couple days later, the Indians failed to score a run against the Tampa Bay Rays, and ended up not getting any further in the postseason.
On Thursday, Brantley stopped walking on his own. Wondering what was ailing him, we took him to a vet, where we were told he was suffering from FIP. So, with that, 6 days after adopting this little guy- we had to put him down.
This cache was hidden in memory of Brantley, and to educate geocachers on the dangers of trapping ferals to sell. Brantley was taken away from his mom too early in order to get the antibodies to combat his disease. Make sure you know: who you're adopting from, the history of the litter and mother, and a vet you will take them to.
Best of luck!
