Geocache Description:

This is part of a series that spans north of the A6071 between Brampton and Longtown. The series will consist mainly of Micros, so for those who moan about them you may want to go and look elsewhere.

All of the caches are placed along country lanes where there are usually stopping points where you can safely stop for a brief time within feet of each time.

The series is ideal for car of bike (bikes please plan your trip and check distances) and will take you all around the countryside where you can take in some stunning scenery.

Please take care along these roads as some are vaery narrow and even have grass growing in the middle. There may be pedestrians, cyclists, horses or agrcultural machinery.

If you have travelled through Hethersgill and reached GZ then hopefully you spotted Croft Farm on the left. Back in 2012 when we had to move from Suffolk to Cumbria (for work) this was one of the houses that we had a look at. Now with it being in our price range and it came with an optional extra of a lot of land, what put it out of our price range was the need for work. It was water damaged througout and basically needed to be stripped right bare.

You should be able to stop right next to the cache here.
