In Honor of Floaten
THE POSTED COORDS ARE BOGUS, THERE IS NO CACHE AT POSTED COORDS!
There has been a new cacher come to town! He has challenged the local cachers to step up our game so to speak. He has brought new puzzle ideas from his old stomping grounds and NOW has even reached out to some of those puzzle masters in other parts of the country to bring us even more challenges. I have said many times, I do not know who will win, me going bald from pulling my hair out, or Floaten running out of puzzle ideas! Looks like I will go bald first!
If things were not bad enough for me, he added salt to the open wound. Back some time ago, I was solving puzzles up in Battlefield and Republic, MO areas and one of the local cachers there noticed that I had been working hard on a bunch of his puzzles. We started up a great (email) friendship, or at least I would like to think so, and he one day asked the question. You enjoy solving puzzles so much and you seem to be good at it, why don't you ever create and hide some?
My response was that of a typical lazy cacher.. Well, no one around here likes puzzles, outside of myself and maybe one or two others, that is it. The puzzles would not get solved and there would be no finds. Just not worth it I said. He challenged me that day to start thinking about it. Well, here it is 2 years later and instead of thinking about it, I am actually posting my first puzzle... YEAH! Let me know your thoughts!
The Puzzle:
In honor of Floaten and all the puzzles he has posted. I wanted to give him a puzzle to solve in return. I solved one like it up in MO and I asked the CO if he would mind if I borrowed the idea. He said 'copy on', so I did. This is a very cool idea and I give him all the credit. You will need to solve this puzzle in order to get the coords to the final!
Please do not give away anything about this cache in your logs OR to other cachers... Let them pull their hair out first!
