What:
An afternoon spent visiting with caching friends, eating good food, playing some games, and even winning prizes! There is a very nice play ground for the micros to enjoy and bubbles to blow and water balloons to throw, while the adults can enjoy horseshoes, ladder ball, and great company. We will be placing 5 new caches and you can take part in a poker run, if you wish. We will provide hot dogs, buns, and condiments along with water and tea after all of the festivities. Feel free to bring a dish to pass. For example:
Caching name starting with A-M: Side Dish
Caching name starting with N-Z: Dessert
Where:
Beautiful Russ Forest located in Cass County Michigan. We will try to set up at the western pavilion, which has a great playground for the micros nearby. It also has a double horseshoe pit fairly close and plenty of room for other games. If the western pavilion is in use, we will meet at the eastern one.
When:
The event will take place on August 31st, starting at 12 PM, lasting at least 3 hours.
*If you plan on participating in the poker run, we will provide the materials and the geocaches needed. We will be awarding prizes for the winners of the poker run based on different criteria, i.e. best hand, worst hand, first finished, last finished, etc. There will also be special poker run categories for the Micros….
