Picnic Social at McHenry County Conservation Event Cache

This is a friendly event is to help you obtain the event and earthcache souvenirs of the 7 souvenirs offered in August by Grounspeak.  

There will be an Earthcache at this site (not published yet as of 7-14-14) so it's like 2 for 1 at this location (3 if you haven't found the traditional just north of the shelter yet).

An Educator from the McHenry County Conservation District will be there from 10-11 am to explain the Kishwaukee site to us.  

Who: Everyone and anyone!  This event is open to all skill levels of cachers - from 0 to 40,000+ finds, people aged 0-150 years, and of course your muggle friends/spouses.

What: This is a simple picnic - bring your own food.  If you want to share food - that's great!  Nobody is gonna stop you.  

When: The shelter is reserved from 10:00 am -1:00 pm. If you want to learn about this area, please come at the starting time.

Why: From 10-11 am you will get a free education of the area, and after that eat your lunch and socialize.  I will be there to answer any new person questions about geocaching (unless it's a puzzle).  Oh yeah, and you get an event smilie.
