Geocache Description:

Two of my favourite activities are Trail running and Geocaching and I often like to combine the two by picking up a cache while out on a trail run. This Cache is part of a series that I will be creating that combine a Geocache with a favourite running trail in and around Colorado Springs, CO. You don't have to run the trail to get these Caches but bonus points if you do.

Palmer Divide Trail is a four mile out and back from the Parking lot at the corner of Hodgen and Woodlake. Very wide and smooth trail with a few ups and downs but realtively flat by Colorado standards. This trail is never very busy so you will likely have the trail all to yourself. Not far East from the Cache location is a short side trail leading to Woodlake Road. Cross Woodlake and there is another short trail that goes through to Murphy Road if you want to add a couple of miles to your out and back. Watch for a Cache on this trail in the future.
