Park at the entrance to Burrs Country Park just where the sculpture "The Water Wheel" is. Cache is a short walk from here along the riverbank.
A small clip box container containing logbook, pencil and some goodies. A great walk along the riverbank and if you're lucky you might see the East Lancashire Train pass above you. So much to see and do in this area, lots of wildlife, great for dog walks and children will be well entertained. There's a tradional pub close by serving lovely food, fishing lodges (permits available from the warden) the Caravan Club Site is here. Please take care with children near the river, the banks can get slippy, the box is NOT next to the river. Bury Town Centre is about a half an hours walk or there is a bus stop close by on Hunstanton Drive. Great market on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Lots of information points around the park.
