The above is a serious warning, this cache is on a definite 4x4 only track. Infact, its probably not a good idea to take your vehicle in unless you are an experienced Off roader, AND go with a couple of other vehicles to give assistance. X-trail, Ravs, and CRV owners and all low clearance vehicles ( ideology!) should NOT ATTEMPT it! Walk,or mountain bike it instead. This will make it an even more itresting day for you anyway
UPDATE: I returned to this cache, and went in on my trusty 2WD,( mountain bike) and found that the track is so steep its almost not worth taking a bike either. I had to walk it down one side, and up the other. then i could ride from the top. but I found a closer access point for walkersand riders. its from Trelaoar road meanai Sydways have the trails markesd in them.
If you walk/ride in the rating is probably more like a 2.5 or a 3 than a 5, let me know what you think.
The careful study of area maps will help you get closer without taking a wrong trail.
See the pics for an idea of how bad the road can get...
The cache is hidden beside, one of the most amazing hill climb tracks in this area, needless to say, when you see it You won't believe that ANY vehicle could climb this Hill. And before you ask.. NO! We didn't even try this one.
You'll earn an extra brownie point if you can tell us how this hill got its name. not many will know, but you can probably guess.
Once again, please take care getting to this cache, you can walk it, but its a fair hike in , closer from the east, than west entry points.
I think this is one of the hardest access caches We've placed, but once you get to the location, the cache is relatively easy to find.
Good Luck, may the force be with you!
