Riverside Tranquility Traditional Cache

This micro-size cache container is hidden at Riverdale Mennonite Church Cemetery near Millbank. I used to attend this church with my grandparents when I was very young, and have fond memories of my Mennonite roots. Many wonderful family and friends are also buried here and give me pause for much thought.  

The Nith River flows quietly past the back of this cemetery and the neighbouring farms are owned by the Old Order Amish community. Expect to frequently see horses and buggies going past, and don't be afraid to wave because everyone here is friendly.

You might notice the red stone at the back of the driveway, marking the grave of a person who came to Canada as a Vietnamese refugee in the 1970's and was adopted into the local Mennonite community. More than 110,000 Boat People came to Canada in those difficult years, but have prospered and continue to thrive today in our society. 

Parking is easy here, drive right in, winter is a little more difficult but not impossible. Bring your own pen. Please return the cache to the exact place where you found it.
