Geocache Description:

Please you common sense before heading out to find this one. If there are many boats in the water, it might not be the best day to find the cache!

It's hard for people in a boat, to see you swim across the lake!

I came to Richmond in August 2013, and now it's time to leave. I spend 1 year as a backpacker here in Richmond and had one of the best times in my life. I want to mark this year by creating a geocache at one of my favorite places. The lake is a highlight of Richmond. When you are 500 km away from the coast, a lake like this is amazing, especially on the many hot days we have out here.
In the middle of the lake, you can see a little island of rocks. This is actually a grave from back in the old days. A guy died right on this spot, and he is buried here. If you enjoy the lake from the golf course side, you can see a piece of wood with a whole in it, out on the little rock island. Rumors says that if you can shoot your golf ball into this hole, you'll win a price... If that rumor is true or not, i can't tell - But i can promise for sure now, that for geocachers, there will be a prize out there ;)
