This cache is located on the property of an avid book lover. When a local library updated its collection, this person bought all the books the library no longer wanted.
This cache was created so grandpa could participate in the "treasure hunting" that his grandchildren love to do so much. Grandpa really loves books, so this cache is going to start out with a few books that can be traded. The cache container is big enough to hold several books that are about the size of a typical DVD case. There will also be plenty of room in the cache for small tradable items if you don't have a book to exchange. The property owners have given permission for the cache to be placed here.
