Seek and You Shall Find
Take some time to enjoy this easy 7-stage multi right in the heart of New Territory, named after my favorite passage. Come experience a beautiful garden and tranquil setting. Parking is available adjacent to the entrance. I understand that the Gardens are open during daylight hours. The gate is not locked so you should be able to access.
Once you find the first stage (posted coordinates), you will be directed to the second and likewise for the rest of the stages.
STAGE 1 (Posted Coordinates)
ASK: This is the beginning of the phrase of my most favorite passage. Such simple logic, yet we struggle to humble ourselves to admit we need to ask for help; we can't do it alone. Sometimes we don’t get exactly what we ask for, but we may get what will make us better people. Asking is music to HIS ears!
STAGES 2-6
SEEK: Here is something all Geocachers can relate to: There is something about the way Life is structured that questing is indigenous to it. The aliveness of Life is best understood in terms of questing. We can translate that very quickly and say, the person in whom there is no active quest is not very alive. Questing, searching, probing, expecting, desiring, hoping – these are indigenous to being alive. As you seek, think about:
- the fruits of your life here on earth
- look at the times that you defied the forces of nature to overcome obstacles
- the beauty and quirkyness that surrounds us in nature
- how we get distracted (Squirrel!) and need to get back on track
- how we need to stay connected... to our faith, to our families and to our friends
If you have followed the path and have been patient, you will find the final!
FINAL
KNOCK: What doors do you feel are closed to you? You feel like you must have that special “key” to get in and that is the only way. Think again. You have only to knock on that door of opportunity - the opportunity to mend a broken relationship; the opportunity to start anew; the opportunity to heal; the opportunity to live a life in the Light. Knock softly or with force… you may be surprised that door will open!
Welcome to The Gardens!
When you come, plan on taking time to peacefully explore this beautiful garden (at least 30 minutes recommended). I have received permission from the property manager to make this a geocaching site. Please be respectful of others who are enjoying it in the midst of nature and a symbolic location. You will experience many of the plants and foliage that were in existence that very first century. If you are visiting in the humid months, bring insect repellant, so you can enjoy the area pest free. The Gardens are currently open during daylight hours. You may want to avoid Sunday mornings to avoid muggles. Easy parking. Keep tweezers handy. Also, please place containers exactly where you found them for others to enjoy….the Quest!
(Updates on the condition or contents are greatly appreciated.)
Congrats to randomwampole on his 44th FTF!
