LaVista Soccer Ditch Traditional Cache

Heartland Cacher: Greetings Doug, Tob, and Jen,

It has been a while since I first looked at LaVista Soccer Ditch. I cant find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

When you have repaired this cache, drop me a line and I can review it again for listing on the geocaching.com site.

If you don't care to continue on with this project, please remove any remaining cache bits from the area.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in a ditch beside the LaVista Soccer Complex.

It's an ammo can. Original contents include: a superball, a plastic frog, an E2X model rocket kit, an RJ11 splitter, a model airplane tire, a NY Jets keychain, a S.L.A.M. sticker, a floppy disk, a fuzzy mouse, a suction-cup lizard, a QSL postcard, and a feed roller from a retired copier.

Deer have been spotted in the wooded area as well as in the adjoining fields. If you're quiet enough and lucky enough, you just may see some.

There are no hours posted, but a LaVista police officer once informed me that the park closes at 10 o'clock.
