"String of Pearls" is an occasionally-used local name for a series of parks along the Stanislaus River maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Park hours vary from park to park and season to season, but they are generally open from about dawn to dusk. At the present time there is no day use fee for this park.
