Bei diesem Gewässer kann man nicht mehr von einem See sprechen, der er einmal war. Es handelt sich dabei nur mehr um den Rest eines kleinen Sees (Lacke), der vor langer Zeit die ganze Ebene hinter dem niederen Stirnmoränenriegel im Norden einnahm.
Heute ist der Trejer See ein idyllischer Ort und ein wertvolles Biotop, das einer Fülle von Pflanzen und Tieren ein Habitat bietet.
Zugang:
Den Trejer See erreicht man am bequemsten von der Bergbahnstation „Speikboden Alm“ über die Straße zur Äusseren Michreiser Alm (Trejer Alm) in 45 Minuten (Wegnummer 26).
Andere Möglichkeiten sind aus der Wanderkarte (www.speikboden.it)ersichtlich.

Il Laghetto Trejer è il resto di un lago che riempiva tanto tempo fa la piccola conca dietro il basso costone a Nord. Il laghetto ed i suoi d´intorni sono adesso un bellissimo posto e un biotopo molto prezioso che dà un habitat a tante piante adattate a questo ambiente. Questo vale anche per gli animali come insetti, amfibi ed altri.
Accesso:
L´ accesso più commodo è quello di prendere la stradina che parte dalla stazione della funivia “Speikboden Alm” e che porta in 45 minuti al laghetto. (Segnaletica n. 26)

You can’t speak of a lake it once was, considering this inshore water. It’s only the rest of a little lake which once covered the whole plain behind the hill in the North.
Today Lake Trejer is an idyllic place and a precious biotope which affords a habitat for a plenty of plants and animals.
Access:
The most comfortable way to the Lake Trejer is the one from the funicular station “Speikboden Alm” across the road to the Äusseren Michlreiser Alm (Trejer Alm) in 45 min (path nr. 26).
