Thistledown Glittering Wood-moss Twinflower, or Thistle for short, is the stage name for a young fairy who has been seen at Renaissance festivals in Minnesota, California, and more. She represents all that is good and fun in fae folk.
We thought, for our first cache, that we should honor her, because, after all, who knows the woods, and especially things hidden in the woods, better than a little fairy?
FTF Gets a Tom. Initial contents includes a couple snakes because Thistle loves snakes.
At some times of the year, the boardwalk is flooded, requiring wet feet or a longer walk. Could be difficult in winter. There is poison ivy in the area but not at the cache site.
Park hours are sunrise to sunset.
Congratulations to digiphotog and rebelex on the co-FTF!
