Earthcaches are cool, just think and... RUN THEM this time! ;))
There's a storm inside of us, to cytat z pewnego filmu, który bardzo lubię. Ale i każdy z nas, geokeszerek i geokeszerów ma w sobie taką burzę. Najpewniej nie zabawa jest dla nas celem samym w sobie, ale bycie w drodze; ruch i pozytywny niepokój. A burning. A river. A drive - cytując dalej ów film.
Zapraszam Was więc bardzo serdecznie na bieg - tudzież jazdę rowerową - pod patronatem EarthCache Virtual 5K. Spotykamy się w Górznie, 4.10.14 o godzinie 9:00 pod koordynatami tego eventu. Naszym celem jest "earthcachowy bieg" wokół Jeziora Górznieńskiego. Przy starcie - koordy eventu - pojawi się nowy EC, a na samym szlaku kolejny. Dodatkowo w okolicach Górzna zostaną opublikowane nowe earthcache, których autorem jest lokalny geolog.
Cała trasa jest nieco dłuższym dystansem, niż wspomniane przez GSA 5 km. Na ochotników czeka właśnie ten odcinek. Dla tych z Was, którzy chcą się zmierzyć z równą piątką, będzie oznaczona wcześniejsza meta. Osoby, dla których obydwa dystansy są kondycyjnie lub ze względów zdrowotnych za długie, mogą pokonać trasę rowerem - będą mogły tym samym również partycypować w nagrodach (których koszty ponosi każdy uczestnik). Rowerowo trasa ta jest również dostępna dla dzieci, ale pod opieką przynajmniej jednego rodzica. Możecie cały dystans pokonać również sztafetowo: po pierwszych 5 km druga część Waszego zespołu biegnie dalej.
Wspomniany na wstępie film opowiada tak naprawdę o pracy w zespole. Nasz bieg będzie również klasycznym team workiem. Nie chodzi o "pierwsze miejsce", bo takiego nie będzie. Wszyscy będziecie zwycięzcami, jeśli dotrzecie do końca.
Dobieracie się w zespołach 2-5 osobowych, a dystans musi w komplecie pokonać cały zespół - każdy z Was jest więc odpowiedzialny za osobę obok. Co oznacza, że jeśli jeden z dwójki padnie, ten drugi musi go zabrać na plecy ;)
Ważne: zabierzcie ze sobą na trasę wystarczającą ilość napoju izotonicznego i żele energetyczne!

Po południu przemieszczamy się do kesza Kurna Chata, gdzie czeka nas ognisko oraz - również za niewielką dodatkową opłatą - jedzenie i możliwość zjechania na tubingowym torze.
Poszczególne ceny oraz szczegóły biegu i wieczornej imprezy podam niebawem.
Każdy z uczestników musi wydrukować i podpisać poniższy regulamin biegu na stronie earthcache.org, jeśli chce otrzymać nagrodę wirtualną. Oczywiście wszyscy uczestnicy biorą udział w biegu na własne ryzyko i odpowiedzialność.

There's a storm inside of us - that's a quote from a movie which I like a lot. And I believe there is a storm inside of each of us, geocachers. In many cases it's not the game itself that is most important to us; it's being on the move, feeling the excitement, this good kind of restlessness. Quoting again: A burning. A river. A drive.
This is why I would like to invite you to a run - or a bike ride - which is going to be part of the EarthCache Virtual 5K event. We are going to meet in Górzno, at the coordinates listed above, on 4 October 2014, at 9 am. Our goal will be to run around the Górznieńskie Lake. At the start (at the listed coordinates) a new EarthCache will be published; another one will appear somewhere on the route. Several extra EarthCaches created by a local geologist will be published in the area of Górzno.
The entire route is longer than the 5 km mentioned by the GSA. Those of you who wish to, can give it a try. For others, who opt for an exact 5K run, there will be a second finish line. If both of these routes are too long for you to run, you can go by bike and you will still be eligible for the prizes. The cost of the prizes is to be covered by each participant individually. Children can participate in the bike ride, however they have to be accompanied by at least one adult. Relay teams are also accepted, as long as each member of the team covers the entire 5 km route.
The movie I mentioned is in fact about teamwork and our run is also going to involve teamwork. It's not about winning and getting the first prize, as there will be none. All of you will be winners when you arrive at the finish line. You are going to team up; each team can consist of 2-5 members. You have to make sure that every member of your team covers the entire route. That means that you will be responsible for other members of your team and you will have to carry them on your back if they fall ;)
Important note: make sure to bring enough isotonic drinks and energy gels!
Here is what is going to await you at the finish line (each participant is to cover the costs of their prizes):
- official virtual EarthCache Virtual 5K Run prize (for free)
- Hardcore EarthCaching badge with tracking code (approved by the Geological Society of America)
- Hardcore EarthCaching T-shirt
- a bottle of quality lemonade (for minors and teetotallers) or a bottle of Ursa Mayor beer from the Bieszczady Mountains
In the afternoon we are going to move to the Kurna Chata geocache, where there will be a bonfire. A small extra fee will be charged for food and for rides on a tubing track. Specific fees will be announced soon.
In order to receive the virtual prize, each participant has to print and sign the Official Run Rules (available at the earthcache.org website). Participation is at your own risk and responsibility.

There's a storm inside of us, ist ein Zitat aus einem Film, den ich mag. Ich würde sagen, in jedem von uns, Geocacherinnen und Geocachern steckt dieser Sturm. Höchstwahrscheinlich reizt uns Geocaching grade deswegen, dass wir das Unterwegssein schätzen und gewisse positive Unruhe in uns wahrnehmen. A burning. A river. A drive - um einmal mehr den Movie zu zitieren.
Somit lade ich Euch herzlichst zu einem Lauf - oder einer Radtour - unter der Schirmherrschaft des EarthCache Virtual 5K. Wir treffen uns in Górzno, am Samstag, den 4.10.14 um 9:00 Uhr unter den Koordinaten dieses Events. Unser Ziel ist ein EarthCache-Lauf um den Górzno See. Am Start erscheint zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein neuer EC, entlang unserer Strecke ein weiterer (natürlich liegt auf dieser Strecke auch schon The Vånga-Rock). Zusätzlich werden in der Górzno-Umgebung ein paar weitere ECs erscheinen, vorbereitet von einem lokalen Geologen.
Die gesamte Strecke ist etwas länger als der GSA 5 km. Sie wartet auf die Freiwilligen unter Euch. Für diejenigen, die nur auf der 5-km-Distanze mitmachen wollen, wird es ein früheres "Ziel" geben. Diejenigen, die aus gesundheitlichen oder konditionellen Gründen nicht laufen wollen, können das Ganze per Rad absolvieren - somit sind sie auch berechtigt, am Ende an der Preisvergabe teilzunehmen (die Kosten für die Preise trägt jeder Teilnehmer selbst). Per Rad dürfen auch Kids mitmachen, doch muss mindestens ein Erwachsener sie hierbei begleiten.
Ihr dürft die gesamtstrecke auch als Stafettenlauf bewältigen: Nach den ersten 5 km läuft der zweite Teil Eures Teams weiter.
Der am Anfang zitierte Film erzählt die Geschichte eines Teams und so ist auch unser Lauf ein klassisches Teamwork. Es geht nicht um den ersten Platz, den diesen wird es nicht geben - Ihr werdet alle zu Siegern, solltet Ihr das Ziel erreichen.
Ihr bildet zwei- bis fünfköpfige Teams und als solches läuft Ihr die gesamte Strecke. Jede von Euch ist für den anderen mitverantwortlich - das heißt, sollte Euer Team-Body nicht mehr weiter können, packt Ihr den Huckepack und es geht weiter ;)
Wichtig: Nehmt bitte genug isotonische Getränke und Power-Gels mit!
Was erwartet Euch am Ziel (den finanziellen Rahmen hierfür trägt jeder selbst)?
