This is a CACHE IN-TRASH OUT event (CITO event). You may wonder, "Okay, but what do I do?" ... Before the event: Grab as many friends as you can. Post a "Will Attend" log. Just before the event, eat a good breakfast. Meet at the posted coordinates at 10 am Sign the CITO logbook to document that you helped. Pick up a whole bunch of trash. Feel good about what you did. Bring a camera. Take photos. Upload the photos to the event page of geocachers out there CITO'ing away and making for a cleaner park and world. It all happens during the 7 Souvenirs of August. Everyone who logs an “Attended” at a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event earns the Nature Lover souvenir for their Geocaching profile. Once you earn all six souvenirs you will be able to unlock the special Achiever souvenir.
