This cache is located at one end of a boardwalk built along the edge of the Brunswick River, passing beneath three traffic bridges which span the river. The boardwalk goes from the western side (Ferry Reserve) to the eastern side of the freeway, and offers a nice view both up and down the river. The end of the boardwalk is the beginning of an excellent walk along a concrete path to the Brunswick Boat Harbour (food and drink available at the Brunswick Heads Fisherman's Co-op) and along the idyllic foreshore of the Brunswick River.
If travelling northbound on the M1, take the off ramp to Ocean Shores. At the roundabout, the road directly to the river is currently blocked, so access is by turning left into Riverside Crescent, and then turning right into the Ferry Reserve.
If travelling southbound on the M1, take the exit at the Yelgun interchange onto Brunswick Valley Way (the old Pacific Highway which runs parallel to M1). Continue over the Brunswick River, and at the roundabout, either turn left and park and walk to GZ, or turn right and pass under freeway, and use the Ferry Reserve access road.
The cache is a small container, with log and pencil and two small swaps. Please rehide carefully in the same position (high muggle traffic at times).
