Geocache Description:

This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache.
Size of cache refers to final. Some stages are reference points, some are micro in size.
Please bring a rubber stamp to sign the LogBook. There is a rubber stamp in the final container to mark your own LogBook with! You may log a find without having a rubber stamp.
As per the guidelines, letterbox hybrid caches "must include significant GPS usage for at least part of the hunt".

Dark and cold and no wind and a thin gray reef beginning along the eastern rim of the world. He walked out on the prairie and stood holding his hat like some supplicant to the darkness over them all and he stood there for a long time.

All the pretty horses - Cormac McCarthy

Here you are, my friends. This is the beginning - one of the ends.
I have made a hybrid letterbox cache - a little Huntington Hills dash!
Now that we have time, let the colour be that bright shade of green - lime!
Start here with that in your head and let my clues lead you ahead.
Ah! There! A paper tag, hanging all forlorn. Take a look and let's move on!

Now we are at thee. Strikingly similar, I see.

There’s more lime here
And there’s an answer near
Take the old manufacturer’s name - it's part of the game
Assign a sequential number to each letter
The A is a three, four is for V, get ‘er?
Figured it all out? Now you have to go here without doubt:
N51 06. (I+M)(T+A)(T+C)
W114 04.(T+M)(I+A)(Y+C)

Walk on the drive in search of a cross man
He be standing still ‘n’ high on a metal stand
Across the road ya’ll not go till he tells you so
He’s a cacher, can you see?
Got one of them doo-dads as fancy as can be.

There's a piece of paper at his feet - from a book it's been ripped and damned,
but it looks like the answer might be at hand.

We've seen this before! This trek is starting to become a bore.
Well, we're here now, might as well look somehow
It should be small and keen and that funky shade of green
Tucked away where no one can see, in something that rhymes with me
Poke me in the middle and you'll find no less, the next coordinates

Now, pay careful attention and read every word
This is where people get stuck, or so I've heard
Walk this loopy road, then an alley (on the right)
that leads to an area mowed
Will help you see the light
There'll you find a pole, wooden, tall and thin. You'll be turning south here again.

From here, it's all downhill, walk slowly, we don't want a spill
If you came by car, that's likely, you would've walked far
If for directions, you want more, look for sixty-four
You'll find here an idea to keep you on the move, get you back in the groove
Need a sign? Stuck on the roadside? Hard it is, he lied
There's quite an audience here as you look for the coordinates
There's some math to do - it's all on you! Take where you're at, and add on to that!
Let's go to the final, where a special box awaits your arrival

And here we all are! We've come far
And thank goodness, this ain't no peanutbutter jar
Whether you've arrived by foot or car
I can't offer you a salad-bar
Or a film star
Not even a bazaar
'Cuz that would be bizarre
Just a cache in a tree, oh how lazy!
But it's not a lemon, it's all lime at stage seven
And because it's a letterbox - it's a letterbox!
But unlike "Posts then Bolts", it has no locks!

I have seeded mine cache with things, lime and supple, a stamp too. The stamp stays behind but the others may be swapped out by you.
If you trade, please do so, up or even, but never down - it's something I don't believe in.

Please do not post spoilers (written or photographic) in your online logs, nor allow your photographs of the cache to be publicly displayed at local geocaching events, as this lessens the experience for those who come after you. Please rehide the containers exactly as you found them.
