Geocache Description:

(This murder mystery cache series is done in multiple parts for both an epic feel of solving a mystery and most importantly, more smileys!  The series will contain traditional, multi, puzzle, letterbox, and challenge caches.  After the first cache, the following caches may be done in any order.)

Hardy Climbs is the type of man who loves a terrain 5 cache.  He scoffs at the idea of looking for caches in shorts and flip flops.  Hardy is a serious cacher and keeps a caching kit of necessary equipment including climbing gear, wading boots, gloves, helmet light, pitchfork, and inflatable raft.  He has more terrain 5 caches than anyone else in town.  When one of his caches is posted, the other cachers groan, because they know some sort of climbing will be required to claim the smiley.  He loves hiding caches high up in tall trees.  When he is not caching, Hardy also likes to hike in Dorrance Park.

Suspect is a White Male in his 20's who is around 200 lbs and 5' tall with Blonde hair and Blue eyes.

Description of Container and Location:

The cache is a small sized camouflage plastic container with swag to start..  There is also a laminated suspect testimony inside the cache.  You should copy this information or take pictures, but do not take the laminated clue from the cache.  They need to stay in the cache for the next investigator.  Cache contains pen and log book. The log book is double bagged for protection.  Please, be a good cacher and make sure the log is protected from the elements by double bagging it.

I was shaking after hiding this cache since I do have a fear of heights.  I do not relish doing much maintenance on this cache.  If you are going to search for this cache, do me a favor and bring something with you to tighten the tether to the host, which happens to be the end of a bungee cord on a branch.  It should be okay, but I would prefer it stays put.

Permission to place this cache in Dorrance Park was provided by the Forest Preserve as long as the property is respected.  Please respect the property of the park while searching for this cache.
