גבעות מרר ( מע'אר)

40 על הדרך המובילה מרחובות לגדרה, ישנה מערכת גבעות הנמצאת מערבית לכביש  .

גבעות אלו נמתחות משיפוליה הדרומיים של רחובות - גבעת חבצלת ועד למבואות הצפוניים של המושבה גדרה.

Mrar is a range of hills east ridge of four sandstone ridges in the area. The ridge rises 94 m (in the national park - the height of 85 meters) - about 50 m above its surroundings. Height difference it made in Joshua definition mountain - "Mount of baelet" estates border tribes Dan and Judah.

Sitting area MAGHAR, so named residential caves carved sandstone cliffs (been kept to this day). Due to its location, the site was military importance, and was captured by the British in November 1917 from the Turkish.
