IT: Il cache si trova nei pressi della stazione ferroviaria di Altamura. Se arrivate in treno, non dimenticate di loggare il cache prima di avviarvi verso il centro della città.
Ad Altamura sono presenti due stazioni ferroviarie affiancate: quella delle Ferrovie Appulo Lucane e quella delle Ferrovie dello Stato. La prima stazione collega Altamura a Bari, Gravina e Matera (maggiori informazioni sono disponibili su questo sito). L'altra stazione collega Altamura a Gioia del Colle e Santeramo. Al momento sembra che questa linea non sia più attiva e siano disponibili solo collegamenti tramite bus.
Se arrivate ad Altamura con il treno delle Appulo Lucane potrete prendere un bus per il centro della città oppure percorrere a piedi il breve sottopassaggio che porta nella piazza della stazione e proseguire a piedi lungo viale Regina Margherita fino all'inizio del centro storico.
Il cache non si trova nell'area della stazione ma lungo una strada pubblica che si dirama dalla piazza all'uscita del sottopassaggio. Il cache è rappresentato da un contenitore di piccole dimensioni che potrebbe includere anche dei geocoin. Suggerirei di non lasciare geocoin all'interno del cache perchè non posso garantirne la sicurezza.

ENG: The cache is located close to the railway station of Altamura. If you come here by train, you can start exploring the city by logging the cache first.
Actually, there are two railway stations in Altamura, right next to each other. One belongs to the regional railway company, Ferrovie Appulo Lucane, which connects Altamura to Bari, Gravina and Matera. Information on timetables can be found here. The other railway station belongs to the state railway company, Ferrovia dello stato, and from Altamura there used to be trains to Gioia delle Colle and Santeramo. However, it appears that those connections are no longer active and the trains have been replaced by buses.
If you arrive in Altamura by the Appulo Lucane -train, you can take a bus from the train station to the city centre. You can also walk but then you'll first have to take the underpass tunnel to go to the other side of the railroad and then continue along the street of Viale Regina Margherita until you'll reach the old town.
You'll need to take the underpass also to go to the cache location. Note: Please don't go to the railway area when searching for the cache! The cache is located on the road sidewalk. The cache has a micro size container which could hold geocoins but I advice not to leave them there as I cannot guarantee their safety.
