Geocache Description:

This multi is situated in McNabb Park.  The route will not take a lot of time and is suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, etc.  All the waypoint info is in plain sight and only requires a bit of thought. There are no hidden tags to go missing and male cachers will be happy to note that this multi can be done without looking like ‘that creepy guy in the park’.  This is a multi-use green space that is accessible year round.

This cache is dedicated to my geo-buddy, Mr. Packrat, who has taken it upon himself to be my Grid Coach.  He has so many normal Fizzy grids completed, that he is currently filling an 81 square for each of the three main types of geocaches!  I really appreciate the many hours you have spent driving me around and hiking back in the woods, hunting down caches together to fill those elusive grid spots.

As the difficulty rating suggests you will need to do some research before heading out, to come up with the final. Please do not post any photos which will give away ground zero or waypoint answers.  Bring your own pen.

At the posted coordinates (N45 24.541 W075 42.093) you will find a bench.  Have a seat and look behind you.  You will notice that the McNabb Recreation Centre has some interesting decorations on it’s south side wall.  One nearby sports themed item should stand out in 3D as it is crafted in part from real materials. The name of this item consists of two words.  Find the digital root of this item and then subtract from this the number of main colours found in the McNabb (or MacNab to use the gaelic spelling) family tartan. Call this number A.

Start walking westwards down the sidewalk to the main gate of the park.  At WP2 (N45 24.524 W075 42.132) you will see a sign banning something. Take the last letter of the small word (singular form) which describes the prohibited thing, and find it’s digital root. Subtract from this number the digital root of the family name of the McNabb’s rival Clan. Call this number B.

Walk north to WP3 (N45 24.561 W075 42.180).  Here you will find a caber-like object with four vertical numbers on it. Subtract the 2nd digit from the 4th digit. To this, add the number of words in the English translation of the McNabb Clan motto.  Call this number C.

A short jaunt north will bring you to WP4 (N45 24.576 W075 42.188).  As you are walking, take a moment to remember what the plant badge for the McNabb Clan is (the two-word description which is ‘familiar’). Calculate the digital root of this flower. Once at the waypoint you can easily see a nearby piece of wall art.  In the bottom left and right corners, there is a related object which is quite familiar with the cache owner.   Name this item and count the number of letters in your one word description. Subtract this number from the digital root of the plant badge, and call it D.

Time for a rest! Head to WP5 (N45 24.548 W075 42.199) and have a seat.  Count the number of bolts on the top of the picnic table you are sitting at, and subtract 7 from this total. Speaking of bolts, if a member of the McNabb clan was to fashion a Great Kilt out of the family tartan (before 1746 of course when all highland dress was banned) how many bolts (or ells) of cloth would be required? Subtract this number from your other bolt calculation, and call this number E.

Journey to WP6 (N45 24.546 W075 42.214) where the fence ends, marking off another section of the park. (Please note that if you wish to stay on the pavement, you can easily do this waypoint just down from the posted spot, on the paved path about 10 metres southward). Think of who will use this partially fenced off portion of the park. (Hint, it is the same sort who was on the prohibited sign you noted earlier). Now reverse this word and look upwards and to the north.  I pray you will be able to spot a high up item with 7 letters related to your new word.  Find the digital root of this word. While we are on the general subject, The McNabb Clan’s name means son (or child) of the _ _ _ _ _.  Multiply the digital root of this word by 2.  Now multiply this new total to the power of the digital root of the high up thing. Call this number F.

Time to find the cache!  GZ can be found at N45 24.ABC W075 42.DEF Please ensure you take a look around before removing and replacing the cache, to avoid it getting muggled.

*To the victor goes the spoils.  Congrats to puih123 & crazeeman, the laddies who captured FTF*
