Geocache Description:

An Event to celebrate lots of things

Beacon Hill Country Park - 10am to 2pm on Sunday 21st September 2014

on 24th September it will be 3 years since my 1st Geocache find, but thats midweek.....sooo

21st September 2014, if all goes to plan should be the completion of my caching calender - all 366 days

it should also be the day when i tick over onto 4,000 finds ( assuming in the next few weeks I find 304 ) - I think 5,000 may be a few years away yet as about 1 month after this event - my second geochild is due and caching may very well have to take a backseat for a bit.

So what better way to celebrate than to organise my first solo event.  To be hosted at Beacon Hill Country Park. We have permission to cache and as such I will be placing a number of new hides for publication on the day - not in the SSSI section of the park but elsewhere.

There is also the the opportunity to get the Earthcache on the Hill, the YOSM at the trig, a nearby Multi in the Labyrinth as well as a fairly old trad cache just down from Beacon Hill itself

The event will run from 10am where we hope to have a small tent - with log book and the usual TB's and geobanter.  Rumour of cake as well.... until about 2pm ( caches will be released in stages during the event )

Hopefully we will have nice weather but no promises !
