På 1870-talet bodde en familj Tengbom på torpet Myren, hela familjen båda makarna och de fyra barnen utvandrade till USA 1871, yngsta dottern var bara 5 månader när resan påbörjades.
Fram till huset fanns från Tollstorp by en körduglig väg för häst och vagn.
På de numer skogsbevuxna betesvallarna öster om Myren betade Tollstorpsböndernas boskap.
Efter familjen Tengbom flyttade nya torpare in på Myren och stället beboddes fram till 1920-talet.
Idag är samtliga hus borta.
In the 1870s, there lived a family Tengbom on the croft Myren, the whole family husband, wife and their four children emigrated to the U.S. in 1871, the youngest daughter was only 5 months when the journey began.
Until the house was from Tollstorp village a roadworthy way for horse and cart. On the now wooded meadows east of the Myren grazed Tollstorp Peasants cattle.
After the family Tengbom moved,new crofters lived on Myren and the place was inhabited until the 1920s.
Today all houses gone.
