Geocache Description:

This is my first cache hide; a small cliplock box in a camo bag hidden beside the river Lea.

This cache is hidden in an area where I used to live. When I was a child, I spent my summers down here by "the stream" with my sister, my brothers and our cousins and wouldn't go back home until the street lights were turning on. Back then Houghton Hamlets didn't exist and this area was just fields.

This is the first time I've been here for years and everything has grown a bit since then but it is still a great area for exploring. If you are approaching the cache site via the foot/bike path then you will need to cross the stream. There is a bridge not far where you can cross or you can cross at the point we used to which is a small gap in the bushes and trees opposite the junction of the bike path where it starts to go uphill towards a childrens play area.

Inside the cache is my first TB called Bedfordshire Clanger, an FTF keyring for the first to find and also a few swaps, the log and a pencil. Please put back as found.

I hope you enjoy this hide.

Congratulations to Lujoco and Grumpalot666 for FTF!
