Torpet Dalen kallades även Johansdal, troligen efter någon av de torpare som varit bosatt här.
Torpet anlades någon gång kring 1815 och de sista innevånarna flyttade från platsen 1900.
Kring cachen kan man hitta stensättningar efter de gamla husen som funnits på platsen.

The cottage was called Dalen also Johansdal, probably by one of the crofters who have been resident here.
