Sunday, August 17, 2014 – Be sure to put this date on your calendar!

THIS IS A SPECIAL, ONE DAY ONLY, OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ALL ABOUT GEOCACHING. Beginners will receive one on one instruction and can practice by finding caches hidden on the grounds of The Tri-County Sportsman League. Experienced cachers are welcome too.

This geocaching event is being held in conjunction with TCSL’s 75^th Anniversary on August 17. Four geocache containers have been hidden on TCSL’s 57-acre site on Moon Road. If you discover the secret code words in each container, you will qualify for a drawing to be held at 2:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded.

If you have never geocached before, we will show you how to add a free app to your smart phone (iPhone or Android) to help you locate the hidden containers. If you don’t have a smart phone, or a hand-held GPS unit, we will provide a treasure map so you can participate.

Because the pistol, rifle, trap and archery ranges at Tri-County can be active at other times, please do not attempt to find these caches at any time other than August 17. (All ranges will be closed on this date). The containers will be promptly removed at the conclusion of the event.

Please stop by the UPPER level of the Clubhouse between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to pick up a clue sheet and an entry form. Enjoy food, music and entertainment as we celebrate our 75^th Anniversary.
