This event will take place at a private camp at Bradford's Cove Pond. I have had to move the location, and the updated co-ords for the camp are: N44° 36.919, W066° 54.366. Parking co-ords are provided with the cache.
The hike from the lighthouse to the camp is more than half an hour. This event will start at about noontime, but it's a come-and-go-as-you-please event.
You will be able to follow the rugged western side of the island, grabbing caches along the way. Upon arriving at Bradford's Cove Pond, there will be hot dogs and drinks provided for all cachers. There is a restroom, but it has seen better day.
From the camp, you could hike to Hay Point (the author's favourite spot in the whole world), grabbing caches along that way as well. Particularly adventurous cachers could even go to Bradford's Cove proper for an earthcache awaiting there.
If you want to bring trackables, we can exchange some. At last year's GM Goes Geocaching Event, I walked away with a very large trackable in the form of a stuffed duck that my family called Günther (or alternately, Captain McQuacker).
Time of event: 12 noon ADT until 2PM.
