This cache is a very small container that was obtained from the cache "The Spawn" placed and owned by LegoMikey in Giba Gorge (GC4V6WV).

Unfortunately it is placed where nothing but memories exist. This farm stall was a popular spot for travelers along the R33 between Pietermaritzburg and Greytown, to purchase farm fresh vegetables, and supplementary items of fruit, nuts, and some home made sweets, and home baked biscuits. Daily freshly squeezed pineapple and carrot juice was very popular and often sold out before lunchtime. The crunchiest, crispest, largest radishes, with a pleasant tang, some of the best we have every tasted were purchased at this farm stall. These radishes were the farmer's pride of the variety of fresh produce that was grown on this farm, and rightly so.

However about 20 years ago the owner retired and sold his farm. The new owner continued with the farm stall but changed the crops he grew. Not too much came from the fields into the farm stall, and so supplementary veges and fruit were bought from the Pietermaritzburg fresh produce market and resold, at rather inflated prices. The homemade sweets and biscuits, and fresh juice disappeared as did the delicious radishes, and after a couple of years the entire operation disappeared. All we are left with is a rather faded unhappy looking sign to remind us of a bygone era - it is sadly a "Farm Stall no More".

So just that there remains some interest, until our Provincial Roads Department decide to eventually remove the sign of insignificance, we have placed this cache here.
A quick stop, leg stretch, grab, sign, replace and back on your journey - should not be longer than 5 minutes delay, unless you are like some geocachers that we are aware of, who make heavy weather of even the most simple cache !
