On our way back from visiting Glassy Beach (a beach made full of glass and safe to step on with bare feet) we decided to hide our own cache. We spend a few days camping at Kona beach with some family and friends and will always return to this area every year as it is one of the most beautiful spots we have visited in Newfoundland.
The Cache is a small container wrapped in black duct tape to keep it hidden a little better, hidden in a patch of bushes just a few steps from the dirt road..... This is a very quick park and grab and just up the road from an amazing beach filled of pieces of glass, and perfectly safe to step on with your bare feet. The Cache has a few items for the kiddies and a log book and pencil, but always bring your own pencil just in case ours is damaged.
