Geocache Description:

This GeoCache lies in the Cadron Creek watershed and is sheltered by bluffs, rock grottos and cascading waterfalls. Overland travel is wild and primitive but a wonderfully rough trail approaches from the west. The Geocache can also be approached by canoe or kayak--expect Class II whitewater--but you'll still need your hiking/climbing boots once you get close to the site. As you might expect this GeoCache is all about adventure.

BIG BLACK BERTHA GEOCACHE

The GeoCache lies near a tall waterfall cascading over a bluff of black rock (you'll see Bertha from the GeoCache). The surrounding bluffs will obscure your visibility and satellite reception so from your rocky perch you'll just have to trust your "mountain goat" instincts to find the GeoCache.

The white waterproof container holds lots of treasures within--some of which you may need to find your way home. You may find a flashlight, emergency whistle, first aid kit, hand warmer, poncho, compass, fishing rope and a host of other goodies.

A journal and a camera is enclosed to record your find--please take a picture, make your entries and leave both behind. Thanks.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. This GeoCache entails an adventure across rugged terrain where you will likely encounter swift water, wet slippery rocks, venomous snakes, and significant exposure to heights.
