Kriopigi is an ancient town located on the first peninsula Kassandra in Halkidiki about 90 km from Thessaloniki.
The tourist location boasts popular beaches, quaint restaurants, convenient camping and a gorgeous mix of mountains, greenery, and beautiful blue seas.
In the centre of town is a famous natural water well located next to an amphitheatre. The word "Kriopigi" literally means cold well.
Be sure to bring an empty bottle to fill.
