BLING BLING
We would like to welcome you to the 2014 ENCC Bling Olympics.
The event will be held at Jacksonville Commons Park.
Since the Olympics were held in Sochi this year we decided we wanted to bring the Olympics back to the U.S.A. - Geocaching style!!!
The event will run from 2pm-5pm and consist of a potluck lunch and Several Games.
We will also have World Renowned Face Painter Dadsgeohound painting face for Geocachers of all ages :)

Opening Ceremony: Everyone will receive a ticket when you arrive at the event. At 2:15 we will draw a ticket and that person will light the Bling Olympic Torch to start the games (and also receive a special clue to the first game)!!!
Game 1: The Great Bling Search
There will be 3 clues hidden in a designated area. These clues will help you find the cache. The person or persons who find the cache will receive the Golden Bling Medal. When a person finds a clue they can choose to share or not share…what you do with the clues is your choice. The searching will start with the lighting of the Torch.
Game 2 : Micro Bull's-eye
Each Geocacher will receive a Bling Trail container and tape to write your name on. We are placing a flag 40 yards out. You must stand behind a line and throw, sling, kick, roll….or do whatever it takes, to get it as close as you can to the flag. It will be up to you how you make the film canister the right weight for you to throw. We will have tennis ball easy throwers to help assist with your throwing. The top 10 will compete in a final for a chance to earn a Bling Olympic Medal
Game 3: Rock, Paper, Scissor
We usually do this game at the Cinco De Mayo Event. But since we didn’t have it this year we are having it now. Winner gets the Belt till the next Cinco De Mayo Event!
LUNCH: This will be a potluck… We will be providing main entrees, please bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
Game 4: Ammo Pong
There will be various ammo cans set out at different lengths with each can being worth different points (the harder the can the more points). Each Geocacher gets 5 throws to get the highest total. Top 3 earn a medal. In the event of a tie there will be a sudden death tie breaker.
Game 5: Micro Log Signing Relay
Teams will be broken into equal groups by random drawing. Each team member will race to a micro, open it, un bag it, write their geocaching name (no stamps allowed), re-bag it, and re-cap it. The team member will then run back and tag the next team member to go… Top 3 teams earn a medal..
