Musket Island Marine Cache Traditional Cache

The park was previously called the Musket Island Marine Provincial Park, but as the anchorage is known as the Hardy Island Anchorage, the name of the park was officially changed to Hardy Island Marine Provincial Park.  The 17-hectare Hardy Island Marine Provincial Park provides a small protected anchorage for boaters, but mariners should use caution when anchoring, as there is a rocky bottom.

After arriving to Musket Island Marine Park by boat, paddle board or kayak, you should find the offical sign.    From there, walk towards the bench, have a seat, enjoy a cold beverage as you take in the beautiful scenery,  then walk 15 steps behind the bench, to the base of the right tree.    This cache is filled with marine related items that will be useful to boaters and fishers alike.   Enjoy Musket Island then have a swim to cool off in the warm, clean and green waters before heading off to explore Hardy Island and hidden gems in the nearby area.
