Geocache Description:

Peterson was given to the City by Judge Abner M. Peterson in 1890, Peterson park is home to many of Mattoons local events such as Cal Ripken world series games, Bagelfest and Lightworks for christmas. This is very nice park inwhich to help find the cache stay to the war memorial at the corner of the park.

This our fifth cache. This a micro plastic tube. Very well hidden. Find the row of trees and begin your hunt. Please exercise caution, as there is no cover, and there cache could be compromised. You will need a pen/pencil as it only has a log.
