Con motivo del hermanamiento de las ciudades de Oviedo y Torrevieja, en esta última se puede contemplar en el Parque de la Estación, una gran reproducción en bronce de la Catedral Gótica de Oviedo, con unas medidas de 3 metros de alto por 1´5 metros de ancho.
Y a cambio, en la Plaza del Fontán de Oviedo está “La bella Lola” desviando su mirada de las terrazas donde la gente está tomando sidra. Donada por el Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja a Oviedo por el mismo motivo.
