The Habitat Trust Fund was established in 1978 for the purchase, retention and enhancement of critical wildlife habitat across the province. The fund continues to preserve as much land as possible for wildlife and for future generations to enjoy. The lands ideal for survival training, snowshoeing and other outdoor pursuits.
This habitat area is a quarter section of land that encompasses a portion of a nearby lake known as Deep Lake. A small trail runs through the lands that is excellent for hiking and getting in touch with nature. You are looking for a small container located less than 20 meters from a nearby road. You are more than welcome to explore all the lands have to offer. There is a Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation geocoin for a First to Find prize as well.
