Chester Woods Park is open from 7 am to 10 pm. There is a $5/day charge for vehicles in the developed portion of the park and dogs are not allowed where this cache is hidden. See the waypoint for parking (this lot is plowed in the winter). From the parking lot, take the Dam Overlook Trail to the North Sand Prairie Trail and then finally to the South Sand Prairie Trail. Enjoy the scenic view at the overlook, wildlife, and wildflowers ... and maybe pick up a few of the many geocaches in the park.
Expect to hike at least 3 miles round trip. So bring sturdy shoes/boots, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please stay to the side of groomed ski trails in the winter. Permission to place this cache was given by the Park Supervisor.
