Geocache Description:

Our first cache(!) is located at the head of hiking trails through the Powow River Conservation Area, a short walk beyond public beach access for swimming and kayaking on beautiful Lake Gardner.

Put in kayaks or canoes at the beach and explore the tranquil powow river, relax at the beach, or hike to the summit of Powow Hill; this is one of "Team Kaboom"'s favorite places to hang out - we hope you'll enjoy it! http://www.lgia.org/conservancy

This traditional cache is easy access for families; no bushwhacking needed. If you decide to hike further beyond the cache location (which we'd recommend!), let kids know to stay on the trail as there is poison ivy periodically along the edges.
