Granny's Pinto Beans (#2) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

This is a short series with easy to find caches.  BYOP and sign the log.

This is a short series that I want to dedicate to my Grandmother.  I moved to Texas in the 80's and first moved into a small trailer house with her. She passed away this past year but I will always remember this road because of her. Ofcourse, like a lot of county roads in East Texas, this road was once a red dirt road. The red dirt may be gone but the beer drinking and the back roading still remains so be careful during your search.  The first cache sits where her trailer once sat and the location of my first Texas home.  All the caches are hidden so that they can be easily found.  Muggles down this road will be far between so caches hidden in the open should not be a problem.

Granny always made a pot of Pinto Beans every single day.  Paw would come home after dark and sit down to eat his beans after a long hard days work.  I've always wondered how he could eat them every single day but he was a simple man with the only goal of providing for his family.  He wore the same clothes and drove the same truck for as long as I could remember. We could all learn a lot from the simple man.  This cache is a simple cache, hidden in plain site.  No frills, no swag, no hunting.  Pull up, sign the log, then move on down the road.  If you happen to see the neighbor, stand and chat awhile across the fence.
