I've driven past this hill thousands of times since I began geocaching but only recently began considering making a hide up here. Though there are probably better ways to get up here, I started at the north end of Villa Ave at a newly erected trail sign*, parking just south of a fire hydrant. I followed trails for a while, then bushwhacked through some very thick broom and finally made a summit. As always, a fire road (Scettrini?) was the reward for my effort.
To the north of where I emerged from the broom, the view was a bit obscured. I tried further south and found a point where there were nice eastern and southern vistas*. So, the cache is within 50 feet of the vistas at the lonely bay tree*. I was thinking about hiding it in the tree, but there is a bit of PO to the east of it. I arranged a geopile of local materials instead.

The coordinates should be pretty good. I've put pictures of the vistas and bay tree in the gallery as spoilers.
