Robin Williams was born in Chicago in 1951, and he went on to have a successful show business career. For generations he made people laugh with his standup, and as TV's Mork from Ork, as well as memorable movies as "Good Morning, Vietnam", "Mrs. Doubtfire", "The Bird Cage", and as the voice of Genie in "Aladdin". He also ranged from more serious roles in "Dead Poets Society", "Awakenings", and "Good Will Hunting" to the downright creepy in "One Hour Photo" and "Insomnia". He received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "Good Will Hunting". On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams was found dead.
At the conclusion of his 1979 album entitled "Reality...What a Concept", he ended the show with: "There was an old, crazy dude who used to live a long time ago. His name was Lord Buckley. And he said, a long time ago, he said, 'People--they're kinda like flowers, and it's been a privilege walking in your garden.'..."
