This is a black bison tube under a rock under a tree/bush (see spoiler photos.) Read better details below.
This trail is well traveled every day, and insanely busy on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday you will be lucky to have a break of a full minute between muggles trudging past. Stealth is required. Please time your grab and your return very well. Maybe pretend to take a picture.
GPS reception in this canyon is horrendous. Coords might be as much as 100 feet off. Do not rely on your GPSr or smart phone once you reach the general GZ area. They will not help you. This description will, hopefully:
Firstly, use the photos in the gallery. I posted them to help you. You are unlikely to find this without them. The cache is in an updated location as of March 2017. Since satellites are useless in this canyon, here are exact directions:
Find the sign with all the graffiti. Turn back south the way you came (again, see photos.) The cache is now under the short bushy tree about 50 feet southeast of this sign. To the left of the spiky plant. Under a rock next to a bigger rock. Do not make a big suspicious rock pile. One is enough.
Please note in your log when the log sheet is almost full. Thank you!
A little history of this cache: It was originally magnetic, on that spray painted sign, but it was taken. It was too exposed. The sign said basically "Don't climb that steep cliff there. It's all loose scree and you will slip and fall to your death." That's where the cache name comes from.
