Fun in the Forest Traditional Cache

The difficulty rating depends on which direction you travel to arrive here.You can park at the waypoint, or drive a little further down this side road but it’s only a short walk from the FSR to discover GZ which is a few meters into the forest. Hope you have some fun with this!

North of 49 (formerly Gottagonow) and I had an adventure getting to Sloquet Hot Springs by driving from the south up the Harrison West Forest Service Road which requires not just a 4x4 vehicle (we had one) but also good clearance. The little Rav4 didn’t have enough clearance – hence our adventure as we had to manhandle rocks out of the way to make some clearance! The route from the north via the In-SHUCK-Ch Forest Service Road is like a super highway in comparison; one I can easily drive in my mini-van mom-mobile. (Although I do pack a full-size spare and recommend everyone do the same.) After two days at the Sloquet Hot Springs we reluctantly headed home past T'sek Hot Springs (where I checked up on A Hot Adventure) taking the easier, north-bound route via the In-SHUCK-Ch FSR and stopped for a break at this pleasant little side road near the river. Congratulations to DisneyGirl for FTF after only a few days. (A Hot Adventure was unfound for 5 months!)
