With this month's souvenir challenge, every geocacher has been encouraged to go beyond the traditional and find some of the more rare cache types. Upon caching myself, I have grown quite fond of some of the other types and would like to see more around our local area.
This event will help those trying to fill in their souvenirs, while at the same time, we can come together and thank some of our own for placing these great alternatives. Most of all I would like everyone to leave enlightened and encouraged to create and place 1 or more non-traditional caches in the near future. We have so much great space, and with the creative minds of our locals, we can really make some more memorable hides!
