My youngest and I have attempted to outwit the wily trout at this spot on several occasions, but we are no match for their trickery. While taking readings for this hide, a few of them surfaced to mock me.
Welcome to my new series of hides! You could consider it a C&D series, but hopefully you'll find it a bit more challenging. The hides will contain many of the elements of my previous hides...minus the one mile hikes and/or bushwhacking. They will all be within a few hundred feet of parking and will all be, for the most part, muggle-free. However, you will still encounter the occasional tick, snake, spider, manbear or skunk. You will sometimes get your feet wet, scurry among rocks, or even climb a tree. But, more than anything, you will hopefully have a little bit of adventure!!!
